Punching and Shaving Process
Shaving has generally been a separate process following punching, however Seki Press has succeeded in developing a single process for simultaneous punching and shaving.
The new process eliminates fracture surfaces, and brings an accuracy of 2/1000, equivalent to machining, with an accuracy in internal and external dimensions of ±0.002mm, permitting a dramatic reduction in cost through a change from cutting to pressing.
